Welcome to the web page of the Pride of Little Dixie Band Boosters. We would like to invite you to view our website and learn more about what the Band Boosters are all about. You should know that there is great “Pride” in being a part of the Pride of Little Dixie Band and its boosters. The Band is steeped in tradition and to be a part of this tradition is a great honor.

We have been very blessed with the addition of not one but two band directors, Hank and Kasey Patterson, and if you have not had the chance to meet them you should take the time to do so. You will learn that they are very hard working and dedicated to the students and dedicated to carrying on the traditions of the “Pride” while also making new traditions of their own.

The Band Boosters work very hard throughout the year to support the Band students and the Band directors, which is our main mission. We have various fund-raisers, i.e. concession stand at the Chickasaw Festival; Indian Taco sales; candy bars; fireworks in the summer; fish fry; and various others. The funds raised from these fund-raisers are used to benefit the students by helping pay for transportation, meals, and entertainment for their trips every three (3) years (i.e. Liberty Bowl in Memphis, TN). We also help to purchase instruments; meet various needs of the band students; and have even purchased wind suits for traveling.

The Band Boosters also provide snacks/drinks for the band students after they march at Friday night football games and also after marching or performing at contests. These are just a few of the things we do for the band students. We also have the Stanley L. Anderson Scholarship Fund, which allows us to present a scholarship to a graduating senior based on the best written essay.
